NEW 3 Star Canoe Training and Assessment
The 3 star award indicates you can be considered an intermediate paddler and competent member of a group to be led in moderate water environments.
On the course we will concentrate on giving you the personal skills to efficiently paddle on simple moving water and open water conditions.
By the end of the course your personal paddling will have improved and you will be confident in ability to be led in these environments.
As well as improving your paddling technique, we will build your traditional skills such as tracking, lining, poling and sailing.
Although we will give you the understanding of the standard required to pass your three star award – our main aim on this course is to make you a better paddler!
