I chose the [First Aid] course based on Leo's reputation as a coach who delivers quality and entertaining courses, essential when 1st Aid is involved.
I drove up from the IOW specially to attend this course, and as such was hoping for a course delivered by someone with the enthusiasm that I lacked for the subject and I was not disappointed; so much so that I have started the process of become a REC trainer myself with the enthusiasm that I acquired.
Leo ran a course that was designed and delivered for paddlers. Day one was spent working on standard 1st Aid theory whilst going outside for any possible practical; the second was started in the class room, then at lunch time a relocation took place where we went down to the river and spent an incredibly informative afternoon looking at, and dealing with paddling injuries.
I can highly recommend this course that is run by a very high quality provider.
